In my fourth term of CMGT, I took a behaviourism course where we had to create an app. My app focused on combating cyberbullying by using behavioural theories like nudges and rewards.
The app encouraged users to report cyberbullying by giving them points for each report. These points could then be used to buy items in a virtual shop within the app. This system aimed to keep users engaged and coming back, using rewards to reinforce their involvement in making online spaces safer.
By implementing these strategies, the app aimed to make reporting cyberbullying more rewarding and encourage ongoing participation in creating a supportive online community.
